Advocacy

With active partnership from the city of Seattle's Office of Economic Development and Sound Transit, CHCC's Sound Transit mitigation plan, which includes marketing and business technical assistance, works on your behalf during the demolition and construction phase of Sound Transit tunnel and train station spanning 2009-2015.
CHCC represents your business' and the community's best interest at the Seattle City Council and other public agencies' meetings.
CHCC organizes neighborhood action projects to address the needs of Capitol Hill and encourages your involvement.

Meet other business owners and representatives from the City and Sound Transit at monthly social events.

Environment

Clean and Safe

The Chamber works with local law enforcement to ensure the safety and well being of our Capitol Hill Community and Businesses.
In addition to sponsoring 2 Street Sweeps in May and October (100 + volunteers participated), CHCC initiated a merger with the Broadway Business Improvement Area (BIA) to support its efforts in promoting clean sidewalks, beautification projects, fostering relationships with other community organizations, and collaborating with the City of Seattle.
