The Woman’s Century Club is a 120-year-old social club for women, founded in Seattle in 1891 by suffragist Carrie Chapman Catt, and we welcome new members! Join us for one of our free monthly gatherings in the parlor of the Harvard Exit Theatre at noon on the third Friday of each month. These events are free and open to the public:

A joint event with Historic Seattle on the history of the Club

An average of ten times a week Elliot Bay Book Company at 1521 10th Ave at 10th and Pine on Capitol Hill presents contemporary authors in anintimate yet casual settings in their book lined reading room. These events are generally free to the public, or with nominal charge. Tickets for designated events are available two weeks in advance on a first come, first served basis. Questions and signings often follow these readings.

This second year of the campaign is focused around eight new neighborhoods: Belltown, Capitol Hill, Chinatown/International District, Madison Valley, South Lake Union, Phinney/Greenwood, Queen Anne, and the University District.
