Hugo Literary Series Road Trip

Event Description:
October 24-25 Aimee Bender has been called "Hemingway on an acid trip" by the Los Angeles Times. Her stories blend the real, the unreal and the surreal in tales of potato babies, a grieving librarian who reshelves men along with books and a boy with keys for fingers. She is joined by the speculative fiction write Matt Ruff, who has been compared to Philip K Dick; and Marie Howe, whose sensual poems read like spare, beautiful novels. Plus songs by Laurie Katherine Carlsson
